COMPANY NEWS
At EUR/USD 1.348, the euro was trading some 2 cents lower to the US dollar compared to one week ago. The trading range extended from EUR/USD 1.345 to 1.37.
Last week, yields for governmental bonds decreased slightly both in the primary and secondary market. We expect them to stabilise at the current levels over the short term, but we see room for additional decreases by the end of this year.
Resident entities as well as legal entities having their headquarters in Romania, but incorporated as per the European legislation (i.e. European companies) are subject to tax on worldwide income.
At EUR/USD 1.367 the euro is trading at essentially the same level to the dollar as last Tuesday. However, during the week we did witness sharp movements in both directions.
